In the morning we will go to the Hostería Lago Gray. Navigation to the Gray Glacier is an unmissable excursion. It allows us to enjoy a unique landscape composed of floating icebergs, exuberant vegetation and imposing mountains.
From the Hotel, we arrive in minutes at the Pingo River where we cross its bridge and then cross a native forest. When we reach the shore of the Gray River we will embark. This excursion has a total duration of about 3 hours. After 1 hour and 15 minutes of navigation we will be close to the feet of the Gray Glacier where we will be able to appreciate from a very short distance all the beauty and magnitude of the ice walls of more than 20 meters that the glacier offers as a spectacle. Marvel at this accumulation of ancient ice while enjoying a typical Pisco Sour, or if you prefer, a Whiskey on the rocks with ancient ice. Return to Hostería Lago Gray where we will take our transfer back to our Hotel.
Option 2 – Las Torres Base Trek
To start this excursion we must move by vehicle to the Laguna Amarga sector, from which point we will start a moderately demanding walk through the Ascencio Valley towards the legendary Torres del Paine, the first section of our walk will take us next to Monte Almirante Nieto to the Los Vientos pass, a place where we will have beautiful images of the park, we will continue to El Chileno Camp where we can rest for a moment and then cross dense forests to a point from which it is only possible to advance on foot to finally reach an interior lagoon, over whose waters the imposing granite spiers of Las Torres del Paine are reflected. Under this extraordinary landscape we will enjoy a restful rest and box lunch that will allow us to recover our energy for the return.
